The Modern Quilt Wrap is very loosely based on the traditional Log Cabin quilt block. Mags Kandis, the designer, worked this wrap/oversized scarf modularly (square by square) in the mitered-square method of color knitting. The results are very dramatic. As this project is worked one color as a time, it’s perfect for thinking about and playing with color.

The wrap provides an exciting opportunity to put colors together in a way you haven’t before. The wrap uses 9 colors and it’s fun to pick out the colors and see what makes it “pop”.

Knit in a Kid-Mohair/Silk blend, it is gossamer light and will become a “go to” part of your wardrobe.

Skill Level:  Adventurous Advanced Beginner, must be able to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, work basic stitch patterns with combinations of knits and purls, and follow written instructions. Experience knitting with mohair/silk blend yarns is recommended.
